Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) and Data Use Agreements (DUAs) describe the terms under which UC Berkeley researchers can share tangible materials and data with researchers at other academic institutions or with industry.

You need to have an outgoing MTA or DUA in place before you share your materials, signed by the UC Berkeley IPIRA Office of Technology Licensing (OTL). After you submit the completed request form, an OTL licensing officer will review your information and respond via email.
